Mobel is a bell ringing simulator designed for church bell ringers and handbell change ringers. It is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and Apple Mac devices. Whether you are at home, traveling, or practicing at towers, Mobel allows users to practice any method they are planning to ring, providing blue line diagrams for methods as well as bobs and singles.

 <li>Practice any method on 4 to 16 bells.</li>
 <li>Ring plain courses or predefined touches (including spliced compositions).</li>
 <li>Freedom to add your own touches and compositions.</li>
 <li>Ring any bell individually or pairs for handbell ringers.</li>
 <li>Mobel handles the other bells and provides spoken calls.</li>
 <li>Conduct feature allows manual input of bobs and/or singles.</li>
</ul>

Users can view blue line diagrams for added methods or compositions, select various line styles with or without bell numbers displayed, and utilize a pinch-to-zoom function on the diagram. The software provides lines for bobs and singles.

 <li>Access a selection of 20,000 methods from the Central Council library.</li>
 <li>Adjust the speed of the ringing to suit your preference.</li>
 <li>Option to ring with or without a handstroke gap.</li>
 <li>Mobel offers the ability to pause if needed or continue in rhythm.</li>
 <li>Edit methods and calls to create new methods or doubles variations.</li>

Basic instructions for using Mobel on iPhone and iPad:

<ol>
 <li>Select a bell by tapping on it.</li>
 <li>Initiate ringing rounds by tapping Start.</li>
 <li>Ring the current composition and method by tapping Go.</li>
 <li>Tap the bottom part of the screen to ring the selected bell.</li>
 <li>For handbells, tap right and left to ring a pair.</li>
 <li>To make conducting choices, tap the top of the screen for a bob/single.</li>
 <li>View the blue line diagram by tapping Show and adjust the style via double-tap or pinch-to-zoom gestures.</li>
 <li>Access settings by tapping the info ('i') button and further assistance via Help buttons.</li>
</ol>

Mobel is now compatible with iOS 9 and later systems. Users with earlier versions of iOS can access previous versions of Mobel. Additionally, Mobel is a creation of AbelSim, renowned for producing best-selling change ringing simulators such as Abel for Windows PCs and Mabel for Apple Mac (see www.abelsim.co.uk). Please note that Mobel is not intended for handbell tune ringers but focuses on changes over tunes.

Note: Starting from iOS version 13.4, users can also employ a keyboard for ringing purposes on iPad/iPhone devices.
